Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell will take the podium with his colleagues in New York today, seemingly in agreement to leave interest rates unchanged at their next meeting in two weeks’ time, but with plenty of uncertainty about what happens after that. U.S. Federal Reserve delivering a 25-basis-point hike in December, compared to a prior rate hike expectation in November. U.S. economic activity was little changed over the last month and a half, as labor market tightness continued to ease and prices continued to rise at a modest pace, according to a Federal Reserve report published.
Investment idea: sell 1.2161 and take profit 1.2085.
