NZD/USD (current price: 0.7107)
The New Zealand Dollar has been among the strongest currencies recently, as both the local and the Australian economic numbers have been better than expected in the past two weeks. The two central banks are also less dovish than they have been before, as the effects of the surprise rate cut by the RBA in May faded away. He pair only experienced a correction last week, during the uncertainty surrounding the Brexit vote, and it now looks ready to hit new rally highs in the coming sessions.
Our assessment: The Kiwi enjoyed a strong rally on Monday against the USD, and the next major resistance zone near 0.7190 is a possible target for the pair if the move continues later on the week.
