The Sterling on FOREX has been slowed on Thursday trading. Today we have published an update on the pace of economic recovery in England for the first quarter of 2016. The GDP growth for the quarter coincided with forecasts of analysts (0.4%), but the figure fell down to 2.0% against expectations of 2.1% in annual terms.

Pound demonstrates the consolidation, which was expected in yesterday’s forecast of the GBP / USD pair. The RIS is near the resistance level, which limits the growth of the sterling exchange rate. The GBP / USD forecast on 27 May 2016 expected the growth of quotations to the May highs, where the sellers showed the activity.
